I retired from law enforcement after 27 years of service. I serve on several nonprofit boards in the community, including The Miami Woman’s Club, one of the oldest women clubs in Miami, I sit on the board of the Miami Safespace Foundation. The board serves in an advisory capacity for the county’s domestic violence program. I was also appointed by a county commissioner to the Board of the Miami-Dade Commission for Women, lastly, I am the founder of the Someone’s Child Human Trafficking Program.
